Eagle Cap Excursion Train
The Eagle Cap Excursion Train operates on a 63-mile long railroad, linking the communities of Elgin, Wallowa, Enterprise, and Joseph in Northeast Oregon. The track passes through spectacular roadless areas -- following the Wild & Scenic Grande Ronde River downstream, then turning up the Wallowa River and across the beautiful Wallowa Valley to the base of the towering Wallowa Mountains. Special events include the spring and fall "Fish Train" runs, heralded by fly fishing enthusiasts as one of the best secrets in the Pacific Northwest!
