Nestled in the far northeastern corner of Oregon is a spectacular jewel -- Wallowa Lake. Known first to the Nez Perce people as a sacred place, the lake was formed million of years earlier by glacier activity. Hike or horseback into the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Ride the Wallowa Lake Tramsay more than 8,000 feet in the air to look out onto four states. Let the kids entertain themselves with go-carts, miniature golf, fishing, and parasailing. The Wallowa Lake Lodge is one of several lodging options, and was built in the 1920's in the style of that period.
