This newly renovated Bed and Breakfast has 9 guest rooms with private baths and each has its own great theme. We offer breakfast in the dining area or you can choose a breakfast in a basket delivered to your room. Yes, we have high speed wireless internet throughout the house. Newport is nestled in the picturesque North East Mountains of Washington State and the Idaho Panhandle. This charming community was established in the 1890's close to the Pend Oreille River. It sits on the Washington Idaho border, centrally located for year round fun and adventure in the Pacific Northwest. Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach Water Park are just a short drive away. And for winter fun you can access Mount Spokane, Schweitzer Mountain, and 49 Degrees North mountain ski resort (s) from The Walden House, which is central to all three.
