Kandahar Lodge
This intimate European-style 50 room lodge is a beautiful base camp for summer explorations of nearby Glacier National Park and in the middle of the action for winter snow sports. It is located five miles from Whitefish, Montana.
Summer day trips from Kandahar may include zip lines, hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, fishing, boating, swimming, golfing, shopping, live theatre and excellent dining. Kandahar is located ski-in at Whitefish Mountain Resort that has over 3,000 acres of terrain and averages 25 feet of snow per year. The Resort was ranked 19th by Ski Magazine readers in 2009. Besides skiing and snowboarding at the Resort, there is cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.
Kandahar has an elegant lobby, a large outdoor hot tub, steam room, exercise room, massage services and a fully licensed Snug Bar. Café Kandahar is an award-winning restaurant with a phenomenal wine list that offers the perfect pairings with the exceptional cuisine.
Each hotel room has two queen beds, a small refrigerator, microwave and air-conditioning. Kitchen units are also available.
The Lodge is open the first week of December through the first week of April and June through September.
