Restored in 1976, this 1920s backcountry ranger station interprets the daily life of US Forest Service personnel who worked in remote and rugged national forest lands.

On September 13, 1805, the Lewis and Clark expedition, following the Lolo Trail, spilled out of the thick woods and came upon a series of lush meadows near what is now Lolo Pass

This city park is located in the floodplain along the southern edge of town. As a city park, it serves as a staging area for community events. Beautiful Nez Perce public art displays are located in the park.

Since time immemorial, the Nimiipuu - or Nez Perce - have lived among the rivers, canyons and prairies of Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.  Explore the park's 38 sites and experience their story. This National Park Service visitor center and museum at Spalding, Idaho provides insight into ancient, recent, and contemporary Nez Perce history and culture.

The Wallowa Band Nez Perce Trail Interpretive Center Inc. is a partner in the Nez Perce National Historical Park and tells the Nez Perce story by preserving tribal customs and culture.  Each July, the center hosts the TamKaLiks Pow Wow & Friendship Fieast.
